지속가능한 건조환경 분야의 발전을 위한 주요 국제 행사인 세계 지속가능 건조환경 컨퍼런스 2026 (WSBE26) 개최 소식을 기쁘게 전해드립니다. 이번 행사는 ProSPER.Net 커뮤니티 내 순환경제 전문가 자문 패널을 이끌고 있는 WSBE26 공동 의장인 우샤 아이어-라니가 교수로부터 받은 초청에 따라 안내드리는 것입니다.

We are pleased to share information about the World Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2026 (WSBE26), a major global event focused on advancing sustainable development in the built environment. We received a warm invitation from Professor Usha Iyer-Raniga, Co-Convenor of WSBE26, who also serves as the lead of the Expert Advisory Panel on Circular Economy within the ProSPER.Net community.

Theme: Beyond the Sustainable Development Goals: Who, What and How?

Dates: 10–12 June 2026

Venue: Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne, Australia

WSBE26 is a landmark international conference that brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and community stakeholders from around the world to share cutting-edge research, innovative solutions, and collaborative approaches toward shaping a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable built environment. The program will cover a wide range of topics, including climate resilience, policy frameworks, technology and innovation, sustainable materials, and inclusive design.

This conference offers a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and partnership building—particularly for those working at the intersection of sustainable development, urban planning, architecture, infrastructure, and community engagement.

We encourage members of the RCE network to consider:

• Participating in the conference as delegates, speakers, or presenters in person

• Exploring networking and collaboration opportunities with global experts and institutions

Please note that participation is limited to in-person attendance only. Please note UNU-IAS will not be able to provide any travel funding for this purpose.
